I got a text message from this number, in quote: “Hi LILY. We are conducting a research study of Virginia residents. All responses are confidential and for research purposes only. We are NOT selling anything, and we will NOT ask you for money. To participate, please click the link: http://ln-7.com/w047w7649 If you do not wish to be re-contacted, please reply STOP.”
Left voicemail: "Good morning, this is Ashley some federal Services. I'm calling you regarding a Government Contracting. Give me a call back. My direct line 276-258-6698. Again that 276-258-6290."
Said was debt collector but would not answer when called the number
Person is a telemarketer. Very unprofessional. When confronted about being on the do-not-call list they stated "how are they suppose to know who's on the list" in a very sarcastic tone. Once instructed there's a public site to verify these numbers and there's a $10,000 fine for each offense if not checked, the rude telemarketer hung up. His name was JUSTIN. Please take caution, as these are scams, and are very unprofessional people who do not know anything about how to do their own profession... if you can call it that.
