Peddler call...Unwanted. Woman leaving message from Legacy...sone sort of charitable sales foundation proselytizing.
I received an obviously fraudulent call/voicemail from this number. It was an automated voice threatening legal action and asking for my social security number. While I know this is a scam, I am reporting it so others who may be questioning whether or not it's an authentic call will know that it is not. ANY call that asks you for your SS#, Date of birth, access to your computer, banking information, etc. is NEVER legitimate. Any legitimate agency that can file legal action like a collection agency, for example, has this information. Any agency that says if you don't call them back you forfeit your rights to fight their "lawsuit against you" in court is hoping the person they are talking to or leaving a message for has NO KNOWLEDGE of the legal system in America. If they know NOTHING about you, will give you NO specifics as to WHO is suing you and why, if they try to give you false information with no account numbers, for a place you've never heard of, hang up or tell them to go ahead and have you served your court papers. Oh, and FYI, If they tell you a search warrant and a warrant for your arrest has been issued and you need to call and arrange to send money to stop the warrants by "paying your fines by credit card or wiring money or anything", it NEVER NEVER NEVER clears up ANY ARREST WARRANTS by "sending money", since you have to BE ARRESTED IF ANY WARRANT EVER EXISTS and only a judge can cancel a warrant, no person pretending to be a police officer can cancel a warrant. IF a SEARCH WARRANT exists, you are NEVER given ADVANCE NOTICE that it's going to happen! WOW! I am NOT an ATTORNEY and what I am posting is based upon my knowledge working for the Prosecuting Attorney and Sheriff's Department since 1995. Again, I AM NOT A LAWYER OR ATTORNEY.
Numerous calls over the past year showing Reader Services! Usually hang up!!!
This idiot woman calls me asks if I still have my vehicle and then proceeds to tell me it’s for a warranty coverage call. Asks how many miles I have several times, after I said I don’t know this idiot hangs up. Don’t you dare call me again!

Left a message saying that a fraud case with Social Security had been opened on my adult handicapped child who is NOT on SS, but we as parents claim. I returned call and inquired why no official mail had been sent out, he said three had been, but I know there hasn't been as I open all mail. Then he hung up. I called back again, got another foreign accented operator. This new customer service gent asked for my daughter's social security number, which I immediately said a scammer would ask for that. He changed and said he only needed the last 4 digits for verification. I know scammers now ask for the last 4 digits to seem legitimate. He said he would pass on these details on the case.
