Said was checking to se if I qualified for a position that I had applied to online through Zip Recruiter or CareerBuilder. Uncertain as I use both. Asked if I was legally able to work in the USA. Said yes. Aske the year I graduated from high school or year I received my ged. Said 1976. Yeah, I'm 61. Suddenly I am not qualified and he rushes to get off the phone. The Age Discrimination Act of 1967 forbids exactly what its title states. I am upset in that although I do have the phone number, I do not have the name of the caller or the company he was calling for.
