called about a PlayStation 5 and 3D headset placed on a Walmart account registered in my name and that if I did not make this purchase to press one to cancel. then restated that this was a pre-authorized purchase
I think they are called Credence (debt collectors) sometimes the name comes up and sometimes just the number of (719) 457-1824. They would not give me any information about them until I verified my information. I refused to give them any of my information and now they call every day.
Left no message. Returned the call and got a robo-answer identifying it as a market research company.
Phone call hung up as soon as I answered, then immediately got an automated text asking about a property in a place I’ve never owned real estate
Got a call from this number asking me to call another number, said I owed providian on a credit card debt. Asked for proof, he said I’d be in court with a lien if I didn’t pay. Scam.

Call from 719-280-0587. I don’t answer “unknown” calls anymore. Solves the problem of scams! I wish someone in Congress would stop this practice. I had to cancel my landline because it was filling my answering machine with scams, spoofs and fraudsters!
