Renting a home in California, asking for 1 year upfront. Same home is listed on Realtor.com for more money per month. Email states the Realtor is a con and to deal with her directly.
Wanted to sell me an extended warranty on my car because I did not have one. Yes, I do because I won't buy a car without one.
Called at 7:23 AM local time then immediately after with a similar number 7273698004
Got a call from this number on my cell yesterday at work, instantly rejected the call and blocked the number as standard practice in such instances, no VM was left.
Interesting, you can hear it is a call center. Once I said hello, the woman kept using my name, I never answered, and she hung up. I blocked the number. What I find interesting is I signed up for a "block from solicitors" and I get more than ever now. Great!

Received an Email from Norton with an invoice charging $249.99. There is a telephone number for you to call in order to refund the charge. Then you get a call from 786-217-9800 saying he is a Norton Security Engineer and needed access to my computer which I gave. Then I was asked to go into my bank accounts to check which bank account got the charge. It happened last night at about 7:30 pm. The engineer called back at about 8 a.m. this morning when I had told him I would be available to continue with the refund matter after 10:30 a.m.. I suspected this might be fraud and closed all my bank accounts.
