Got unwanted call from 803-262-2780?
A woman called me from this number and asked for a person who I did not know. The person had the same last name is mine. Then she addressed me by my full name and said someone used my name as a reference. I told her I didn't know the person and she hung up abruptly. I called back the number and it just rings with no answer. I spoke to my wife and she too received a call from the same number. We now think it's a scam. Just don't know what kind.
Possibly Some type of scam. This number call me 3 times back to back. The first two times I sent the call to VM. the 3rd I answered. I was asked if a new A Bridgette Williams I informed the lady on the line I did not she then said she has down my name as a legal reference. The lady on the line had my full name and verified who I was. After I confirmed once more I did not know a Bridgette Williams she advised to disregard. My maiden name is Williams and I became concerned this may be someone I know just not by Bridgette I called back to get additional info and the line just rings no one picks up no VM option. Per White pages the phone number registers to a holiday inn. Don't know what it was really about but it seems suspicious.
