Got unwanted call from 844-242-7272?
I got an email stating a purchase over $2,000 was made with my Amazon credit and I didn't make the purchase. I surely didn't make this purchase but I realized when I called the number it didn't seem legit so I hung up.
Email Phishing scam using this telephone number - NOT from Amazon.
Email supposed to be from Amazon saying a Samsung 65 inch TV had been ordered for $999.00 and will be sent to an address in Lincoln, NE. for a name to Elizabeth Reynolds. This address is the address of the Post Office there. This all happened onTuesday, April 27, 2021. I was instructed to install some software on my computer and I did. Their # 844-242-7272
