I got a text message from this number and once I called the number in the text message they said I owed money for cash advances from 2015 which I've never gotten and then proceeded to tell me all my identifying information such as current and past address. social security number, current place of employment and driver license number. This is most likely a scam and these people must have gotten all that information through a data breach and are attempting to scam people out of their money saying they are attempting to collect a debt.
Got a text with my info said plz sign documents by 6/23/2021 9am -12:00pm current status encounter to reschedule please contact 855-214-6392
Sent me a text with my name, address to reply to a different number then where the text came from. The number the text came from is not valid. Scammers.
I got a call from this number (888) 838-5858; same story first dvd's that my daughter did not order then this month charged my card for a 79.00 fee Capital One called the number with me on the line and they acted like they had a legit business its total fraud somehow they get the information from college board to be honest I am disappointed that College board doesn't do more to protect out kids privacy I could care less about a disclaimer on their website about fraudulent calls College Board needs to do better in protecting the information that our kids enter into their system I question the process what a racket they have going with kids from all over the country and the high schools from all over entering sensitive information into their system I would say they are definitely selling that info how else are these fraudulent companies getting a hold of our kids and our information ?
Call, live person, asked for a name similar to my daughter's name. I said no one here by that name and they hung up.
SCAM! Not only did they take the initial $219.84 for discs that are from 2012, but they continued to charge my card $69.95/month for 4 months. I caught it and filed a fraud complaint with my credit card. They have so far credited back three charges $69.95 but not the fourth. I have alerted the school and am going to alert College Board, for which they said they are a vendor, as well as the BBB. FYI, the website they had initially told me to look at this past September, www.testingscores.org" has been taken down. They also go by the following names: College Prep (855) 214-3579; College Scores (888) 838-5858; Educational Testing (888) 611-8941; and Educational Services (866) 952-0212. They must have flagged my number because they no longer answer when I call from that #, but they do answer for other #s I have used. This last time, when I started questioning and told him I was looking for a refund, they said it was an after-hours # and the guy hung up on me. I have alerted the school, College Board, and am filing complaints with everyone I can. SCAM SCAM SCAM!! I hope no one has to deal with what I have dealt with with these disgusting people. I still have no idea how they got my daughter's information or were able to contact me. Disgusting.
