Call from this number came as Directv, Hackensack, NJ on caller id. Research shows it’s a land line from Cardiff by the Sea, CA owned by Glu James In. Definite scam call.

Just called but no andwer

This number called us anemic left no message. Then shortly later we received a call which was likely from the same number claiming to be me. Claiming I had a wreck toward my dad and that my nose was broken and my mouth had stretches so I couldn’t talk very well. Dad handed me the phone call so I could talk to myself and hear the details and I played along. Supposedly I had a wreck in Ohio and they gave me a phone number for an attorney to call to send bail money to keep me out of jail. The number they gave me was a New York number which has been reported as well as having a scam like this attached to us. Clearly the fake me apparently talks like he has a Mexican acdent due to the stitches in his lip. The fake me had his head go through a windshield when he was visiting Ohio for a funeral because my friend died of cancer. He started to fske a cry in emotional pain and asked me to call the lawyer to keep him out of jail and his friend died of cancer. I listened andngot the phone number and said, you know what I just got done talking to myself. The Mexican guy then cussed me out with some brief exploitive and hung up. The name of the friend that died was Jimmy. Lol. I told him I was sorry his friend Jimmy had died of cancer and he felt bad and hadn’t to go to the funeral. Lol. The name of his lawyer which he wanted me to call was Robert Hicks according to his pronoucistion but he spelled the last name Hitks. The phone number he wanted my dad or grandfather to call was 646 439-4032 which is a New York phone number. So some Mexican calling from New Jersey called claiming to be me and I had a little bit of fun listening to his act. We have been called before by this kind of senior scam where they claims dads grandson was in jail for having an accident going to a wedding. It’s the same kind of scam and in that one dads grandson wasn’t supposedly visiting with a friend in a rental car and had an accident and I chatted with a lawyer in that one or a fake lawyer as well in that other call which was about a year ago. So we are likely on a robocall and scamming list and these guys were scammers, we’d also get calls for car warrenty and irs scams although I don’t know if they are from this number or so:e other spoofed number. It’s entertaining to chat and waste their time I feel you have the time but they will always cuss or hang up abruptly once’s they realize you know they are a a scam.

Called my relatives saying that I was in an accident and injured my head. They said I needed money for bail money.
