I received a call from Roy Rana at 201-588-3101 saying he was from Directv. He said he could lower my bill by $35 per month and insisted that my receivers needed to be replaced due to an upgrade in their equipment in my area and if I did not replace my receivers then I my service would not be compatible with theirs. He said the receivers were $600 each but were free to me. I would however have to pay the service technician $150 for shipping and handling. This Roy guy had very broken English more than likely from India. I called Directv and she said it was a scam.
Caller said they were from direct TV wanted to know about my service and bill. Would lower my bill $30 month and send someone out to upgrade my devices after they leave I will be charged a fee of $176. Guys name was Roy Rana and I could reach him at 201-588-3101 or 201-535-4197 I would call him directly in the future. I was born at night but not last night so I called direct TV and this was a scam.
