He called me repeatedly and knew my name. Said he was an immigration person form the govt.
The caller pretended as Immigration officer, telling the personal information and pass port has been misused by unknown party. To update and secure personal ID, he needed my full name , birth date, address and bank accounts.
A person called pretending to be from government in Washington DC saying my identity has been stolen. The call was followed by a phone call from what appears to be a Houston Police department number asking me why am I not cooperating with the immigration department. I believe this is a scam.
