Same as the report above. Got a call at my workplace from a caller ID in New Orleans, Louisianna-- 1-504-215-8479. The woman who called me from that number had a strong accent. Said her name was Nancy John. Kept repeating, "you understand? yes?" as she told me to call 202-844-7578 and give my Conf.ID# and I would get $9K. SOUNDS FISHY AS ALL "GET-OUT." Final thoughts: IF it is a Govt Grant, it is MY TAX money they are giving out. If they would, instead, CUT TAXES, we wouldn't need "American Rescue Plan" (ARP) grant dollars handed to us.

They Tell Me They were from Grant Alleviation 1.331.212.3540 .. is the number they called me from .. and I am to call 202.844.7578 and the tell them my ID# and they will send me $9000. in a non repayable grant .. Government Grant Money ???

I received a call from 3 different numbers today and each time when called back each was do not answer nor a working number. Each call was from a foreign person who instructed me to get a pen and paper to write down the information because I had won a grant, which I was not going to have to pay back. I was not required to give any personal information and when asked if this was a scam, of course I was assured it was not. The person said his name was FRANK THOMAS and even spelled it for me. I needed the phone number 2028447578 and pin number so I could claim my grant of $9000. I know I should be grateful that I was the chosen one for this grant, but what the scammer doesnot realize is that this receipent isnot as dumb as a box of rocks. Also, every time you choose to answer the to many to count phone calls that come in daily, it is a foreign person you get the priviledge to speak to so that means all the honest American people must be busy working nor havenot finished training for their scammer wanna be job.
