Received a phone call from a man who said at first, he was "Eric Burton" and how he had important information for me. He wanted me to call him at 202-866-7115. He then repeated his name only this time it was "Eric Clapper". A check of this phone number revealed it was a Scam.

This man by the name of John called me telling me that I won a 500,000 lottery and that they have been sending me letters to notify me. The man insisted that the only way I can claim my prize is if I sign a letter that is coming in the mail. However, the letter was not going to be delivered by the postal service but instead by a "private courier." He was trying to get me to give him my information/signature to commit fraud! Beware of these scams!
