I've received a call every 30 minutes or so since 8:23 this morning. Call ID indicates the calls are coming from Apple, Inc. Annoying! NOMOROBO has been picking up the calls.
Has called 12 times in the last hour. Blocked number but keep getting through.
Called twice 5/6/2020 with 15 minutes - I don't have Apple as they were listed as Apple
I received 5 phone calls from 203-658-1801 in 1 hour and 45 minutes. I did not recognize number, it went to messages, no message left only a number to return call - didn't recognize this as a valid number either.
I received a telephone call from the 203-658-1801 number today, December 4, 2019. I answered as it came up as "APPLE INC". Since I had been having issues trying to log into my Apple account, I assumed this was just a follow up from a prior conversation with a Senior Advisor from Apple. When I answered, an Indian lady, whom I could barely understand said she was calling about my login issues with my Apple. She then asked if I had any Apple product, iPad, iPhone, etc. I said yes, my iPad Pro. So, she thens goes on to tell me to go to this website: www.fastsupport.com/ I will leave out the 9 digits she told me to type in. I did, and it came up to the website LogMeIn. So, I am getting a little feeling of this is a scam, or something. I inform her that I feel this way and she "reassures me" that they are with Apple and are here to help. So I allow access to my computer. Then, after they asked me to input my Apple ID, cell and home#, etc, I immediately ended the chat, blocked and took back any permissions I had given. I then contacted the Apple Senior Advisor who has been helping me actually try to get my Apple account out of recovery, He said he wa snot familiar with this company. So, I am glad that I blocked the number and took away all of the permissions I had given them. I did find one thing strange, every time I asked a question, she would say "I am with Apple", then put me on hold for about 5 seconds. The background noise sounded very much like a call center also.
Apple support - Do Not Use your apple device until you call our office- Just purchased apple iphone used on 1/11/2019- my guess is they are phishing
