Called regarding my internet security. I asked for a callback number this number was given. He also gave a name of Ronald Williams. I called back from another number and a person by the name of Dave answered. I asked for Ronald Williams and he put me on a brief hold. When he came back it was the same person.

Caller said they were from Amazon & I may have had a fraudulent purchase for $999. Wanted me to put my phone on speaker & log into their “secure server”. I hung up & called Amazon customer service. They said it was an attempted fraud call.
Scammers tried to get me to pay $349.99 to "renew" my Norton account via email request. Email misspelled "Norton" as "Norotn." I called number 1(206) 333-6786, and after some discussion, I asked where agent "Jonathan" was located-he immediately hung up.
Stated they are from Amazon, to report a charge, that I did not incur. I asked name and phone number , stated name is Michael. wanted me to go thru more steps, sounded like they wanted me to download an app on my phone.
Call from Amazon Claims hackers are attempting to access my account. Called from a local number wants you to download app to give remote access.
Pretended to be Amazon customer service and tried to convince me to sync my address to their remote laptop. Of course I’m not that stupid.
