Clld back with my # masked and on mute, Answ call on 1st ring “Hello this is Sydney on a recorded line how can i help you”. Was not a recording. I check for recodings by muting the phone, a real person says “Hello?” a few times before hanging up. Unknown caller type, likely a collections call for someone else or unsolicited sales.
Got a few calls from 210-625-7254, let them go to voicemail but none left. Got another call, answered it and there was no one on the line, then the call disconnected on their end.
They call and leave a blank voicemail every single day. I picked up once asked them not to call again. They still call daily and I still let it go to voicemail.
Received a call from a so call gaming commiision , Mr James Davis, informing me that I won 2nd price in some type of sweepstake. The amount was one millón two hundred and fifty thousand dólares. He ask if I received any notification un the mail because they have been trying to get in contact with me. He also have me a 1 866 number to call and a routing number and said that the check was in Houston , waiting for me to verify it. Once I called that that that routing number, the woman on the other side , repeated every thing that Mr James informed me off including a feeling of 0.01% of the original amount which is one thousand one hundred and fifty dóllars that needed to be payed before Bank of América could release the check that they had waiting for me. But when I informed the representative in Houston that I dud not have that money , that I live in a fixed income, they said that they could possible bring the free down to maybe four hundred and eighty give dóllars and the rest could be payed once the cashiers check from Bank of América, is delivered to me and it was cashed. That I could send them the rest then. That the money was coming from some private institución, why it M ad to be payed up front. That it involved taxes, and feed that needed to be payed before the check could be released.
Bogus Social Security Scam. Artificial voice saying suspicious Social Security number activity and to call them back. Of course I did not as all Social Security Admin numbers are toll-free.
