Guy said he was with Microsoft and they owed me a refund of 199. He sounded like a middle Eastern. I told him some mean shit and hung up then send his number to hackers sight to put all on the web for bullshit sites
received call from a person with heavy East Asian accent (India / Pakistan) stating that I could my computer service contract (could not tell exactly what was being said and get a refund of $199 or continue with the service and they will charge $299. I told them that I wanted to cancel and he guided me to pull the page www.helpme.net which is commonly used by scammers to get you to install a sofware and they get control of the computer. I had to input my name and the guy would give me a key to enter in the other field. Here is where I told him to cancel or do whatever he wanted to do, that they could send me an invoice or an email for the cancellation request., I wanted to know what the scam was about.
