Yes I did he said his name was Justin William, they asked for 200 and said we were randomly selected

Same number same scam. Be careful. They actually called me from a local number first then gave me this number to call back 214-646-3255. I didn't call them back and reported them to scamming agencies.

Same spam call from HHS. I had three options to get my grant. I could pick it up in person at 200 Independence Ave SW, give her my bank acct info, or give her my credit/debit card info. I asked her the name of that building. She said, "I gave you the address." I said, "Yes, but what is the name of the building?" She hung up. BTW... it's the Hubert H Humphrey building.

Got a call from 315-262-5555. She said her name was Karen Smith and that she was calling from Health and Human Svcs. Said I was eligible for a grant in the amount of $7,400. Gave me a grant ID# and told me to call 214-646-3255 the Dept. Mgr. 200 Independence Ave, SW, Washington, DC 20201. When I did not call the number right away she called back on 1-888-382-1222 which came up Asotin Cnty Pbl. She asked how I intended to spend the money I told her on bills. I then told her I looked up the 214 number and that this was a scam. She insisted it was not until I started reading her the report I saw on this site. She hung up on me.

Same number, same scam! Told me I qualified for a government grant and when I insisted on more information before giving out my own the caller hung up on me.

Called and said he was calling me so l could receive a government grant and wanted my bank information

Said from government grants

They said is a Government Grant. They change the amount 3 times I answered. They ask for $200. They were extremely rude when I made questions about. They all sound with Indian accent.

Said he was health an human services an that I was selected to receive a grant in the amount of 7000.00. Told me his name was Ben Johnson gave me approval verification number. Gave me the address of 200 Independence Avenue Southwest Washington DC also gave the department managers phone number as 214-646-3255 the number he called from was 915-265-4135
