Got unwanted call from 214-935-1849?
Repeated unwanted robocalls from this number. Due to them using a robocaller, it is impossible to answer, you are either disconnected upon answering or there is dead silence on the line. They left a recorded message from "Will" stating he needed to speak with me about an urgent matter. Phoned this number back to advise I was on the donotcall.gov list and to ask (as required by law) that I be removed. You have to verbally TELL them prior to filing suit. The individual who answered states her name is "Deborah" and that they are calling on behalf of Priority Roofing. I respectfully requested to be removed at once and was told by "Deborah" that she can request they (her company) not call, however, other companies from other numbers may continue to call from other numbers on their behalf. Excellent! Because once they have verbally been told to STOP CALLING, and they continue to do so, each call is worth X amount of dollars once a suit is filed. It takes some effort (unfortunately) on the part of consumers, but I guarantee you, you can stop these calls...and get paid nicely for doing it. There are attorneys (they can be located elsewhere, other than the city in which you live) that specialize in taking these cases, it cost the consumer nothing, and in the end consumer is awarded for these repeated unlawful calls that are an intrusion of privacy, not to mention ILLEGAL.
