Left voice-mail, said "Hi this is Jesse with the studen loan department. Give me a call regarding your student loan". No other information, I will not be calling back. Call was clearly not from my student loan servicer.
I got a call from this number. I have been targeted for donations and scam calls for sometime now. I suspect my number is being marketed. I made a couple of donation to a sheriff agency years ago and it appears the people doing the collecting may have other revenue sources. So I no longer donate to any source calling me. There is a online charity navigator if one wants to find about a charity and their background. Be they a scam or a good actor.
They called my house line. It was out of area, so did not answer. They left no voice message!
