Scammer. Reached out via a Craigslist furniture posting. Sent a fake cashiers check. Don’t fall for it!
Scam: Received text in response to a Craigslist post. “We’ll send cashiers check and have movers pick up the furniture after the check clears.”
Calls asking for my wife's ex-husband. He does not live here. He lives in Owensboro Kentucky

Name: Victoria Stated she is calling on behalf of an investor. Asks all sorts of information about my house, which is available with pictures on Zillow. Eventually asks if there is a mortgage...none of her business. Not sure if it is an investor at this point, but asks inappropriate questions. Never proof of cash funds letter to see the house, which is typical for an investor, and never submitted an offer to purchase my house. Lots of these scam calls come in daily.
