Police charity request for money, but call is not from, nor associated with any actual law enforcement department. When yougive a contact phone number to DMV Texas, they sell your information to scammers. I had my cell phone one week, gave my contact number only to dmv, and started receiving police charity scam calls within a week.
Same old police charity scam.
