send my elderly mother a check for over $6,000.00 saying she won the PCH second prize for 2.2 million dollars and the check was to cover insurance and attorney fees and for her to go ahead and put the check nin her bank account and they wouldprocess the 2,2 mil once deposited.

Same exact experience as LC. Person from this number called my elderly mother on 3/29, saying her grandson was in FL for a wedding, and now in jail, and didn't want his parents to know. Put an actor on pretending to be the stressed out grandson. Got her to get $5000 in Macy's gift cards and read the numbers on the back, but we got the mess cleaned up after lots of stress.

Exact same experience. $7890 in Macy gift cards. Wanted us to read the numbers on the back of the cards to them at this number. Same story as DH

Called my elderly father saying my son was in FL for a wedding and hit a woman with a car and is in jail and needs to call "attorney" John Goldstein at this number to arrange to send $$ to get him out of jail. My father was beside himself thinking it was true. Horrendous.

Called my older parents with same story, car accident, broken nose needed $4800 in Home Depot gift cards. Complete BS, I wish I could get my hands on this guy, I'd make sure his nose was broken when I got done with him..

EXACT same experience as DH. Tried to scam my senior mother out of $4800 in Home Depot gift cards. Claimed car accident, broken nose, and DUI/legal fees. Completely bogus story -- #dirtbags
