My caller ID stated Wal-Mart, but this is not Wal-Mart. It's Progressive Leasing, then sent me a text message. I don't know who or what Progressive Leasing does.
My caller ID stated Wal-Mart, but this is not Wal-Mart. They called regarding a bill for someone else from a leasing company. So deceiving.
Called and I didn't answer so then they texted my phone threatening to put a PI on me and threatening to invade my privacy and harass my family, friends, coworkers and neighbors. Then attached names and numbers and ages of family members to the text message (when this is personal info). Also current and previous addresses were attached to this text. Then assured me they could save me money on a debt of over $21K that I don't even owe. The text also had a case number on it saying to call back immediately and refer to that case number.
Threatens lawsuit if call not returned within 24 hours. No prior calls or emails received.
Received call. When I called back there was a recording that said the number was not set up for receiving calls. Unwanted call.
Received this call, when I called back, recording stated “this number not setup for receiving calls.â€
