This apparent “company†somehow got my work number (a job that I started 6 months ago) for a car I bought 8 years ago. The woman insisted it was on the car loan paperwork, which it wasn’t because only my husband was on the paperwork and I didn’t even know I would even have this job. When I tried explaining to her after telling her no it wasn’t (twice), she hung up.
There was a ton of background noise and a tv playing , so by the behavior of the person who called me, and noise with tv in the background, I believe this was a scam call. I called back and spoke with “Jenny†told them to take my number off the list—which they probably won’t.
