The folks call speaking broken English. The caller speaks fast and try to make you think the call is from Medicare for free braces for knees, ankles,back, neck, etc. These calls are coming into my dad's phone. Today the call went to me as I have P.O.A. and he gave my number to the caller many times. I was told the braces he needed were ready for shipment. I explained all of my dad's needs have been met. The lady said "Why do you hate your father? He needs the braces. Why are you hate him?" I got angry. I told her we have gone thru this scam before and do not send anything to him. She kept wanting me to use the word "yes' I refused. She said you have only one option I am giving you..your father will be sent the braces. I let her know with my power of attorney I refuse the fraudulent order. I would report her and the company to Medicare, TN Dept. Consumer Affairs and the U. S. Dept. Of Consumer Affairs just as I had done last year. I clearly told her and asked if she understood? She tried to bully me about the power of her call. I asked her to take his name off the call list as he is registered on the do not call list. I will report this company if an order is sent. Last year they sent 4 braces made like over the counter products and charged medicare almost $2,400.00. I reported and returned those braces as they were never ordered. There is a fraud complaint by me filed with the above agencies. The name of the company sending the braces last year without my authorization was Medco.
