CITIZENS TELECOMM CO OF NY DBA FRONTIER COMM OF NY
Got unwanted call from 315-232-0709?
Said I bought some kind of program for my computer. I didnt. The message said to call to either renew subscription or cancel. I called to cancel.they then proceed to tell me I need to get on my computer to fill out a cancel request form. I said no! Just cancel this subscription and hung up.
Tried to get information on my PC and said if I wanted to cancel their services I needed to be online on my landline PC. Then this Maria wanted me to logon to www.gotoassist and relinquish them to have access to my PC. I asked why all that information if you were doing a service and should have this info already. I was told to be sure that they had the right person and bank to reimburse the money.. Anyway I found that another name they were using is LogMeIn, Inc. How do I file?
Received call on my cell and told that $249 would be deducted from my account if I didn't call back. Calls came from 2 different numbers - 315-232-0709 and 385-210-1920. Barely able to understand and what she was saying. Kept calling saying waiting for me to get home so I would be at my PC....she never said the name of the company except that I had ordered the service 5 yrs ago. So I asked why did I need to log into my PC if I had PC services and why was my name and address needed to cancel and get a so-called refund, wouldn't you already have that info, Anyway an app they tried to get me to go to is gotoassist and company when I checked it out is LogMeIn, Inc. If a cent is missing from anything, who's suing, ME.
Caller said these funds will be deducted from my account unless we called back. PAKISTAN PETER said the tech support company went under and they are taking over the accounts. I need to go onto my laptop to confirm the cancellation. Then they could also send me a refund for the remainder of the contract. I just told them i was at work and did not have my laptop with me. He said I need to call him back. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
threatened to take money from my account.
I never buy tech support but he insisted i bought it 2 yrs ago for my MAC. Never owned one.
Told the recipient that account would be charged $400
Robocall telling me my subscription with my computer technical support will expire July 23rd will expire. If I do not call back to talk to their "executive" the subscription will expire July 23rd but they will deduct the amount automatically from my account. Thank God for the RoboKiller app on my cellphone!
They told me will charge my credit account and then when I called back they told me I was a Mother fucker
I knew this was a scam! The woman left a message and told me to call back about an account I had with I Tech Solutions. She spoke with an Indian accent and wouldn’t give me her name! She said I had to be on my landline computer to get my refund, $249.99. I told her that I have a cell phone- why doesn’t she send me a refund through my PayPal account and if she knew I had a refund coming, what was my name? She just kept saying that if I don’t go to my computer and let her help me through the cancellation, that I would lose my $249.99. I knew if I went on my landline. She would instruct me so I can help her get in the back door without my knowledge. Then she can help herself to my funds! I told her that I am not entitled to that refund, therefore, I don’t want it. I hung up. I want to warn others of this scam! Thank you!
