claimed to be from McAfee and they are going to charge me for my protection.Its a scam
I received an email from McAfee skating my subscription was to be renewed and the payment was going to be taken from my credit card account. If I wanted to have it stopped I was to call this number. 315 309 0114.
Male voice threated my elderly father, called him a deadbeat father for rasing me to have late bills threatens to send cops to his house and mine to arrest me, father told them to go ahead i am married to a sheriffs deputy hangs up
I received a call, telling me my loan was approved for 5K. I was asked to verify some information, from where they got it, I don't know but it was pretty accurate, not exact but close. I was told they were going to deposit small amounts into my account, and then asked to verify the amounts, then I was asked for my username and password to that account, so they could also verify. When I refused, he attempted to sell me deeper on the benefits. This person was not Harvey but was a guy from India who mentioned and referred me to Harvey Richardson. IN speaking with Suntrust / BBT/ Truist and LightStream. While the information I was given regarding these companies was right on target, NONE of the parent companies associated with this supposed loan, could verify ever having my information, even more so, I was informed that NO PHONE calls would ever be made on verifying me of any approved loans, that any communication, would have been done via email or fax. My suggestion, In latin ... "praemonitus, praemunitus" in english... "forewarned, forearmed". You are now both!
Claimed to be working with Onondaga County Debt Collection and threatened placing garnishment on my payroll. Called both my private cell and work phones numbers repeatedly. Male was extremely abrasive/nasty and demanding I make settlement arrangement at that moment.
Harvey is the main guy. He has a guy he calls superior. I thought it was too good to be real. Do not get scammed by these people. They are good, too. I have no recourse. Got to me for thousands of dollars.
He almost promise that I was going to get this loan he put money in my bank acct just to have it taken out with cards from game stop so I did it just as he said but when I called back to see what was going on the phone number was blocking calls I emailed him but no response so far no money was taken out of bank other than what he put in my acct but if he called hang up he is a fraud.
