Not legitimate at all. Trying to sue my dad who passed away in July for a bill he never made. Supposedly it was made in October after he passed.

This number has called either myself or my husband for the past 3 days. They claim to be trying to collect a debt from a credit card in 2004, which is absolutely bogus. The caller says that if I don't pay the small amount (around $650) today, interest and penalties will be applied to the balance, and my husband's social security will be garnished. Also, when they call, they use the wrong middle initial for my husband, and also the wrong address. When we tell them it's the wrong address, they correct themselves, so obviously they have a list of people with my husband's first and last name handy, but not much else. Once I start questioning the caller about the misinformation, they state that their information is "very accurate", and then they terminate the call.
