Day before yesterday my Mom got 3 calls. She knew it was a scam but was shaking. She's on Social Security... Luckily I'd recently briefed her on new tactics on the elderly. Today I got 3 calls. Reported via FCC website. Am saving the Voicemail JIC I need to record and email it. This is in Montana. 17Sep19 and several times from morning to noon (mountain standard time) 2 days earlier for my Mom.
They called saying I had a fraudulent social security claim and being sued. Number was 321-296-1845
Said I had fraudulent activity in Texas. When I declined to verify my SSN, they somewhat threatened that I would need a lawyer and go to court to proceed. Then click!
Social Security Scam claiming that I committed fraudulent activity with my SSN. SS office does not have a "main number" in Florida, that would be contacting me in the NorthEast.
Robo-Call threatened legal action if the call was not returned... female voice... sounded electronic... pretty obvious that this is some sort of scam... unprofessional methodology.

I answered this unknown call but said nothing because I wanted to wait for someone to speak. If it’s important, they would’ve spoke. Also, I said nothing because there are scams that record your voice saying “hello” and they do fraudulent things.
