Another unwanted call from this Los Angeles VOIP number arrived today, less than 3 months since the last unwanted call in April. Once again, when the answering machine picked up, there was dead silence -- a strong sign of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who shamelessly prey on the public. The predator has been flagged as a scam contractor (probably unlicensed), who also phones from (323) 209-3285. The venerable website www.whitepages.com describes both numbers as "scam or fraud."
