Complaints about Phone Numbers323-603-####

I got a call from the same number and with the same message give or take. Different name and different county. But they seemed like they were representing an attorneys office. Yea not falling for that. Sorry now that I see these comments.

Got a call from 844 589 1225 with the same message in first comment

From the Message left: Good morning. My name is Tina. I'm calling on behalf of document control for Anderson and Associates. This message is intended for LeAndre amighetti. I'm doing a follow-up call on some documents that were mailed out to you last month now the documents they were in reference of a pending legal matter out of Beauty County. And unfortunately, there has been no response on your behalf. So I'm calling you today to advise you that this is your final notification on this matter. If you could please give me a call, that number is 844-589-1225. Also be advised. If you do not make contact with me by the end of business day today. This office will move forward without your participation or acknowledgment there for your return call back is mandatory to avoid any additional legal actions that number again is dead. Is 844-589-1225 with file number 15815. I thank you and you have a blessed day. Yep. Not real either.

Actually got the exact same message from someone named Shayna Warner from Ellington & Associates. Same BS, about civil lawsuit with a case number, supposedly packet sent, blah, blah, blah. Was supposed to call back 866-959-1583, which I think I will after I'm home with some not so nice verbage. Who the heck are these people? Does Ellington & Associates know their name is being used (there is a law firm with that name), or are they part of this??? SICK TO DEATH OF SCAMMERS! I work too hard, take care of my business and pay my bills. LEAVE ME ALONE!

Got a call from Olivia at 323-603-3974 saying a 'civil complaint" was filed against me. Left a case number and 866 number to call back. They tracked down my mom's home number and told her same thing. I remember getting one like this last year as well (from another "law firm") and I think that one said that a packet had been sent to me. Ignored and gee, nothing happened. Same type of scam. I guess when you call the 866 number they will try to get you to pay them for something?

Scam ??

I received a call today saying it was from Los Angeles/Ellington & Asso.. They said there was a pending civil complaint about me. Told me to take down a file number and call another number to follow up. Also said they sent me out a packet regarding this. I told them this was a scam and I hung up.

I got a call from this number today as well. Stating that there is a civil lawsuit filed against me. They wanted to give me a phone number to call Ellington and associates law firm but I told them it is fraud. Also, that I have no idea who they are not that law firm. The proceeded with saying will you’ve been notified about the lawsuit and it’s still going to proceed. I said ok cool thanks.
