Received call from 325-238-7814 advising I had been approved for $18,000 grant from the U.S. Government. Referred me to their office at 979-583-9669. I called that number and it is not in service. I then called the 325-238-7814 and reached a women with a heavy foreign accent who needed by bank account number to deposit the $18,000 grant, which, by the way, did not need to be paid back. I declined the offer. She hung up on me.
I received a phone call on my cell phone from a automated device stating that my Social Security number was being used in a different state and they will be using legal actin against me if I do not call them
Received unwanted robo-call to my cell from scammers, called I.D. Pro (supposed identity protection svc). Obviously calling from India. "Just for calling today, you may receive a $100 Rebate Voucher for only $1.99. You may spend the voucher at many well known retailers when you subscribe to one of our savings plans. Please have your credit card handy." Well that is quite a jumbled offer. No thanks scammers. This number's area code indicates it's location is in Abilene, TX, but that must just be a routing trick. I blocked the number on my cell and will report to FCC as well.
Left a message that I filed a false claim to SEE and if I don't call them back soon, they will be filing a lawsuit against me
