Claiming to be Huntington Bank and it’s not.

Claimed to be from Huntington national bank and that’s not what they’re name is it’s just Huntington bank. So knew it was a scam.

I also got a call from this number claiming to be with "the corporate office of Huntington Bank." First, the corporate offices of Huntington Bank are in Columbus, not Akron where the call originated. Next when you return the call it goes immediately to voice mail with no indication of the company receiving the call. SCAM all the way. Shame on you!

I got a call from this number claiming to be with Huntington bank. Some sort of phishing scam. +1 (330) 996-6528

Got call from 330-996-6733, call ID said “Spam Risk”. Obey Jones from Huntington Bank. Didn’t sound legit. Ended call

Called me claiming to be from Huntington bank retention team to refi my mortgage. Said he didn't know if I had one or not. It was weird. I just ended the call.

Someone is calling me repeatedly claiming to be from Huntington Bank.

Rather than immediately going to the interweb to say something is a scam, I decided to call Huntington customer service to validate. Turns out this Becka person does indeed work for Huntington - in their sales department. The call (or message left) may be deliberately cryptic, but it's definitely bad protocol during a time when scammers are rampant. When in doubt, call the companies you do business with directly, Huntington's customer service number is 800-480-2265.

A "relationship manager" named Becka Steffy calling to discuss information with me from Huntington Bank's corporate office in Akron OH. I didn't answer so she left that as a message. Huntington Bank never calls, so definitely a scam, but a very legit sounding scam.
