Got unwanted call from 340-489-0425?
I received a call today stating that I was over due on a bill from August 2019 in the amount of 467.35 to Labcorps (which I did in fact have a bill for that amount during that time and paid it in full at the time of service.) I asked about invoices since I never received any and they gave me my correct address that these "invoices" have supposedly been going to since 2019. Then she stated that no action would be taken if I paid the amount of 467.35 and that she would even do me a "favor" and waive all the late fees over the past 2 years since I haven't received any invoices. Extremly convincing since I really did have a bill to that company for that exact amount at the exact time they stated and they had my correct billing address but I knew that I had already paid it in full at the time of service so I called Labcorp and they confirmed that I didn't owe them anything and it was a scam.
Got a call claiming I had an over due lab bill. Refused to send me another copy and threatened to send to court at the end of the day. Had my husband call back to talk to them, super rude to him and hung up. Fake!
Medical debt, will report to credit. Asked to put in mail. Hung up.
