Called me too. Web design firm in India or Pakistan dredging for business after I buy a domain. To answer 2/27/2020 comment, Technically infeasible for the FCC to stop robocalls--you can set up systems, but these people aren't dummies, and it will subverted quickly enough and we'll just gain layers upon layers of inconvenience. Some people also tend to start ranting and raving about government interference in their lives anytime it does something to protect them. (Government is damned if does and damned if it doesn't.) Many phone services and even phones allow users to block or screen incoming calls according to various criteria. Particular numbers or ranges of numbers, numbers that aren't in the users directory, entire country codes or area codes, and so forth. I just don't answer if I don't recognize a caller and let my voice mail pick it up. If it's important I'll listen to the message and call back pretty quickly. Most spam callers never bother leaving a message.
Don't care. Don't want India robocalls. Fuck the FCC for NOT stopping this shit!
heavy Indian accent; could hardly understand the person calling as to what he wanted. When I stated he called a law firm, he then apologizes profusely and states he misdialed.
Calling me daily. Spoke to a young kid who wanted me to call an 800 number with a reference number regarding a civil complaint against me. Apparently he was a processor serving me with a phone call??? I call bullshit. I told him so and said if there really is a civil complaint against me then they can serve me in person as the law states with actual documents! So sick of this!
