said they were looking to confirm my address to send me a motion of discovery about a Chase account....I never had a Chase account

Threatened legal action and advised me to seek a lawyer. They 'will take action' but did not say action for what. I was like, 'excuse me?' and then the female hung up on me. It's good I answered and not someone else to think it's serious all the time and causing family problems.

Robo call.

Rcvd robocall today from 347-431-1639 instructing me to call 800.839.1639 (another scam#). How do these scammers get our names and phone numbers??

Same comments as others -- computer generated call which knew name -- blocking them as well. Something needs to be done about these calls -- I must block 12+ a week -- just ridiculous. And a shame to think that they feast upon those who do not know better and provide them with the information that they request !!!

called and said they are a "mediator" about an old HSBC cc that was paid years ago - they wanted me to provide them with detail. I told them this is a private # and to never contact me again.

I got a call today. A recording. Threatening me if I didn't contact them. I hung up and blocked it.
