My landline in Connecticut was called by this number this morning. Live caller asked for me by name and claimed to be from the "Consumer Protection Board" and to be investigating lottery or sweepstakes fraud. Wanted to know if we subscribed to Good Housekeeping, Better Homes and Gardens, and/or other magazines. I said we did not and that we never entered sweepstakes. Caller eventually stopped trying to get information and anyway I hung up. A moment later a call came from the same number, same voice, asking for a different person's name. I told them they had the wrong number for that name and to stop bothering us.
