I made a mistake when answering this call. The stated my name and asked me if that was me, I, stupidly answered "Yes". He then said "thanks" and hung up. He now has a recording of me saying "yes", to be used for who knows what purpose. I'm aware of this kind of activity, but I just happened to be expecting an important business call at that time.

This number called at 10:30PM (after the cut off time that businesses are permitted to contact people) had an automated message stating we were a Publisher's Clearinghouse winner... Press 1 to be connected with an agent... It disconnected. I called the number back and it was a voicemail that couldn't receive messages. It was connected to an address in Staten Island New York. If it were a legit business call, it would have been during appropriate business hours and wouldn't have a random voicemail.
