called my elderly parents to say their grandson was in an accident and arrested in NY. They said it sounded like him. Said to "keep it between them" Gave them a number to call back. They ended up calling my son to verify he was ok.
This number calls my wife multiple times a day, sometimes five times in a row, never leaves voicemail. According to others, it seems to be Hello Fresh trying to get her to resubscribe. Blocked the number.

My elderly mother was called by this same scammer number today. A guy pretended to be her grandson, but he didn't sound like him at all. Same song and dance about him driving to NY, getting arrested, and needing $8k for "bail". .....only her grandchild is 14 and lives in TN. She recognized it was a scam and hung up. #losers
