Received call from 360-200-6642 re 'my property' - wrong address, we're not selling and when asked where my number was purchased from the caller hung up.
I didn't answer as I didn't recognize this number, and I looked it up online. In listening to the message left, it is very deceiving as it leaves out part of the phone number for call back, but gives an extension to use with a friendly voice using familiar slang wording extension. On my cells 'recent phone calls' it lists the full number, therefore it would encourage a call back using the extension given.
They called my wife's cell phone and she didn't answer. One minute later they called our land line asking about a house we have listed for sale by owner on Zillow. The woman said her name was Ashley but she already knew my name. I asked her if she was a broker or agent. She said she was not but that she works for one. I explained to her that we were not going to use any realtor services and I put my wife on the. She refused to say what company she works for and started bullying my wife trying to pressure her into using their services. When my wife laughed at her unprofessional line of questioning and the fact that she refused to answer any questions, the woman put a man on the phone. He spoke to wife in the same tone. Refusing to answer any questions and flat out bullying her trying to get her to use their services. The first woman didn't even get the town right. The man tried to convince my wife he was familiar with the area but it was obvious he was not. About 5 minutes after hanging up on us, they called my wife's cell phone again. It was Ashley again, but as soon as she realized it was me she hung up. They must just be going down a long list like a sweat shop because she didn't even realize she had already called this number. One thing's for sure; they must be manually looking up our info. My name and our land line are not shown in our Zillow listing. SO they probably looked us up from the County Tax Assessor web site or something. The same people have also called us from (425) 200-0365 for sure and possibly other numbers, too.
Yes, twice in one day. We recently listed our home for sale so it must have something to do with it. Not answering!
I forgot to add they wanted to come over view my house even though I'm not selling (which is werid right now with the virus people doing virtual viewings for homes) I donno how they got my number and my address linked to it
Got a call from this number. They asked if I was the resident of my address they knew address and said it. I said yes and then asked are you selling your home? I said I'm not selling and they said why you not selling? And I asked where do you see my house selling or where it's listed they going up.
Called today from 360-209-4241. Left message to call or I will be arrested. I’m in FLORIDA
