It comes up as SSRN but they just ask for me and say Are you home and hang up. Scam

Caller ID said 'SSRN'. If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer the phone. If it's a real person and they want to talk to me, they will leave a message. No message left from this number.

Male with a thick Indian Accent tells me, he is calling from Microsoft, and that "your PC has been infected with a virus.".... I knew this scam, and not the first time he called, but calls in on different numbers.

The automated message tries to prompt you to press "1"...even if you don't and just sit on the line, it says that you will be added to the do not call list, then disconnects. Obviously it wants you to press "1" so that it can confirm a real person answered the call, and therefore the line is "live" and they can sell your contact info to others. AVOID PICKING UP THIS CALL...IT CAN ONLY DO YOU HARM!!!
