Three calls from this number this morning. I didn't answer any of them. However, I called the number back and it's not in service. IDK who they are or what they want, but no legitimate business will use or call from a number that's simply not working. That step alone (validating that the calling number "works") would eliminate about half the spam I get. Why the government and telco's allow bogus caller id's is a mystery to me. Ask yourself "what good can come from spoofing caller ID"?
They claim they are with a credit card company, called me twice and the first time I told them we don't take credit cards. The person kept asking what type of business we have so that they could take me off the "Do not Call List". I told him it was none of his business and he insisted he know so that he could remove our #. Very annoying.
