CALLED 7 TIMES IN HALF HOUR, LEAVES VOICE MESSAGE ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO.
In a matter of 3 hours we received 12 calls from Molly at Apple telling us that there is a problem with our Apple account. In the middle of all these calls they were coming every 12 minutes.
So far today, this purported Apple, Inc. number's robocaller called me 7 times. It says my Cloud account has been compromised and says I can get help from a support person. It talked right through our answering machine message. So annoying.
Prerecorded message: "Wish to talk to a support adviser right now please press one if you wish to hang up press two." Called 14 times in one day.
A call every 1/2 to 1 hour since this morning, from different area codes and numbers, some Apple Inc ID, others not. Usually these cons not this frequent per day from different numbers. Wish congress would do something!
I nearly fell for this scam about six weeks ago, but that time it was not a pre-recorded call that got the ball rolling, but a live person. I had just signed into Netflix the day of that first experience, and received the "Apple Support" call a little later. Today I signed into Netflix again and (so far, less than 2 hours later) have received 10 (yes, 10) automated calls from 408-551-2150. I suppose the connection with Netflix may only be coincidental, but I'm passing the info along just in case this scam also involves Netflix.
They continually call. They will not stop and we are on the Do Not Call Registry. They are unrelenting. Apple Inc. Scam calls.
Over and over they call. 7 times today. I have no Apple products. Said to hit 2 and they would go away but they don't
