Left me a message cleverly disguised to imply they were my current credit card processor and were offering to lowering my processing fee rate. They are NOT my current processor and it is simply a telemarketing SCAM.
Received two calls within two days claiming to be from the Department of Social Security and that my number had been suspended. First off, it is the Social Security Administration, not "the department of" and secondly, government agencies do not call individuals - they send letters if there is a problem. Thirdly, a Social Security number is not suspendable. Calls like this can be reported directly to the FTC here https://www.ftc.gov/.
What Steve said ... they're trying to sell your credit card processing. They had very wrong information about my current processing, confirmed that I'm not their customer, and want to send a sales rep to me to "lower my credit card processing fees."
