Message about a final time to avoid an initial appearance in front of a Federal Magistrate. Did not answer or call back as the call came in as "Spam Risk"
Received automated call saying I needed to call them to avoid appearing before a Grand Jury or a Federal Magistrate. Just received the message, did not call back.
I got a call in Pittsburgh saying it is the last time I am being contacted in regards to my Federal Charges
Scam, claims they are trying to reach you for a federal criminal offense. Trying to fish for identity theft.
I first got an automated call claiming to from the Social Security Office and to be a third attempt to reach me. It claimed that it was a crime to ignore the call. I called the number back and reached a call center. A woman with a strong foreign accent asked me for my first and last name, then for my social security number. I told her I wanted to verify that this was actually the SSO before giving out any information, so I looked up the number and found that it is NOT the Social Security Office. When I told her that she was committing fraud, she hung up on me.
