A recorded message claimed my social security number was being used in fraudulent activities and I was to call the number right away. Not connected in any way with SSA, plus from experience no one leaves a robomessage when your identity is stolen anyway. Did not call. Clear scam.
Just returned to find the call about suspected activity on my SS card! I figured since the call came from out of state it was a robo or fraud call! Won't respond! A in ND ;-p
I received phone calls from 410-996-4583 about my social security number is being used in multiple crimes and that they were going to freeze my number. There are other numbers they are calling from out of Texas
I received a phone call from 410-996-4583 on my cell phone & home phone that my social security number had been suspended for fraudulent activities & to call them back. This is obviously a scam. They do not suspend Social Security Numbers.
I got a voicemail to call them back due to having a lawsuit. Says they're from Social Security. I called them back got a guy with an accent saying it was Social Security. I asked what the call was about. He wanted my name. I told him since they called next hey obviously had my name and phone numbe which should show up on their caller ID. He said yes ma'am but we have so many calls we can't look them all up. I then told him since this was obviously a scam I was reporting to FCC, Consumer Affsirs and Attorney General. He said I wouldn't and if I did nobody would do anything about it. Have reported as I told him I would. Whether they do anything or not I've done what I told him I'd do.
Got a robocall from 410-996-4583 saying to call back or there would be a law suit against me.
Robot call about filing legal proceedings against you and hangs up when returning phone call. Report.
