I get calls every day from this and similar numbers (last few digits constantly change). The VM is always background noise, like someone is watching tv. It's bizarre.
Car warranty scam robocall. NO caller ID. Wasn't home when it came in so couldn't do the "press 2 to get your # removed" -- of course THAT just proves the number is valid....

Caller hung up (or was blocked, or was a robocall system) after four rings -- not enough time for the answering machine to kick in or for me to get to the phone. NO caller ID whatsoever! So, is the carrier USA Mobility? Or is it Leap Wireless? Or some other company entirely who gets stuck with the hot potato scammer? Lots of plausible deniability going on, otherwise. Maybe I should report ALL the potential carriers to the FCC and FTC.... Maybe everyone else should too!
I got a call from 412-293-4684, but they always hang up on me. There are several number that do this that are either a car warranty fraud service, political calls, hang ups or even just asks if I am my name and hangs up? It is non-stop all day, and now it is even happening on my work cell phone. I block them everytime, but the number changes continuously. It is creepy and odd. Why is this occurring daily, and sometimes several times a day?
