Same scam call happened to me. I called Blue Shield directly and they have no notes on their systems regarding anyone in my family
Automated recording said they were calling from Blue Shield re my son. They wanted to verify my identity, so asked for my son's birth year. I hung up after that. Scam!
They called me about health insurance about my son. I did not pick up the call and they left voice message.
They called me telling me to call 833-896-7455 about my child. They pretended to be my medical insurance carrier. I knew it was a scam.
