Work from home scam. He told me that he got my info from a form I had filled out on the internet. (I did no such thing.) I said that I had not filled out anything like that and asked him where he really got my number...he hung up.
Indian call center, claiming to be UPS, who wants to send you crappy back and knee braces, then over bill Medicare for it. The guy said his name was “George Bates.†They know a lot of your medical information when they call (disturbing). They try to record you agreeing to receive the crappy back and knee braces - presumably for when Medicare catches up with them. Don’t be fooled.
These scambags are trying to scam Medicare by selling cheap back braces for an outrageous price. Braces that anyone can buy from Wal-Mart or any store that sells them. Then they charge Medicare an ungodly amount for them. DON'T FALL FOR IT!
